VICTORY IN THE FINNISH FORESTS
In just one week, 3000 cyberactivists sent letters to Finnish companies buying timber and pulp from Finland's last old-growth forests.
The pressure put on Metsahallitus' three biggest customers (StoraEnso, UPM-Kymmene and M-Real) had an impact +
their pressure on the government resulted in the state owned logging company agreeing they will not log the Malahvia forest this year.
So you did it! This forest is only off the chopping block because of your support and efforts.
The community that had opposed the logging is very happy.
Thanks to everyone.
Stay tuned for more opportunities to protect Europe's last ancient forests.
