28.Nov.2004 I think there is a conspiracy to steal the vote, but it's difficult to determine what information is genuine and what is a red herring.
I think Madsen is on the up and up at this point + it would not surprise me if former FBI agents were posing as security officials as he outlined.
I do want to point something out that I've not seen discussed anywhere else. I live in Cincinnati, in Hamilton County, which is adjacent to Warren County, where the election night "lockdown" took place.
A few weeks before the election, our county sherrif, Si Leis, + the Cincinnati Police Chief Tom Streicher sent out letters to local businesses warning of a possible "terrorist threat" that might involve the elections.
They claim they were warned by Homeland Security.
This was a front page article in the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Homeland Security said they had issued no such warning to them and if an official warning were in order, Homeland Security would issue it, not the county sherrif or police chief.

Just go ahead and push John Kerry again and I'm saying, you say that's been happening a lot and it hasn't been corrected?
Yes, but we can't do anything about it. So I did push John Kerry again and the vote did stay on John Kerry.
Even though I completed my voting + after I went over my ballot + I pushed the vote button, I'm still not sure that I voted for John Kerry because, I mean, did my first vote that went to George Bush count or did John Kerry count.
Tom Kessel, Bexley: ...One time I went outside, I came back in, she [a Republican campaign worker] was actively going over some sort of computerized list she had with the precinct judge in precinct 4A in Bexley.
One of the three machines went down and they were not able to get the tape out of it and the cartridge at the end of the day.
Later on, when I got the poll -- data from Franklin County poll workers, that machine which had the lowest numbers of votes had the highest percentage of Bush votes.
The other two machines were coming back 30 % for Bush. This one came back 40 % for Bush.
I don't know. Also, they sealed up their provisional ballots before I had a chance to count them and let them know how much provisional ballots were there.

28.Nov.2004 Suing Mr. Blackwell: People for the American Way has sued Ken Blackwell over the 8000 provisional ballots consigned to the round file in Cuyahoga county.
"The suit is a mandamus action, which asks a court to compel a public official to perform a duty."
The suit also says that any vote cast in the wrong precinct should be counted, if the voter did not receive instruction as to the correct precinct.
The suit also says that votes should not be discarded if they were cast in the right building but at the wrong table.

The exit polls are seen as critical because they seize the initiative in the propaganda battle with the regime, invariably appearing first, receiving wide media coverage and putting the onus on the authorities to respond. We are led to believe that these groups, or this movement, sprang naturally from the fundamentalist soil. But such is not the case.
"A fundamentalist is generally defined as one who believes in adult baptism (that one should have a choice in the matter and be old enough to know what he is doing), in a literal interpretation of the bible + in being 'reborn' or 'born again' through a personal experience in accepting Jesus Christ as one's personal Savior. This definition does not begin to cover all those in the religious right. There are Orthodox Jewish rabbis on nearly every one of these groups' boards of advisors. It is believed that these names are being used as part of various advance fee or “Nigerian letter” scams. The public is advised to use caution in dealing with anyone claiming association with a financial entity not known to them. In particular, members of the public should not make any advance payment (no matter what label is attached to it) for the purposes of opening an account, paying a government fee, or similar. In almost all cases, fraudsters request payment to be sent via money remittance to an individual, not the named financial entity. Legitimate money transfers cannot be wired or otherwise remitted directly to entities that do not exist. The names listed below are not authorized Federally regulated financial institutions and may be part of such advance fee scams (see also OSFI’s Warning Notice No. 23, dated February 2002). Warning Notices contain the names of entities recently brought to OSFI’s attention through some form of notice, inquiry or complaint. Meanwhile, shouldn't we be urging our major media to make more of the GOP's flagrant voting suppression tactics, combined with those actions by GOP election officials to ensure smooth voting at GOP suburban precincts and long lines and 3 hour waits at inner city and college precincts, etc.
What is the burning question to me is, why would GOP commit such flagrant abuses of the Voting Rights Act unless it was needed to make a difference? And secondly, why has no-one been prosecuted? #

But these votes would be scattered over many states. No question the surge of expat voters would have been prompted more by desire to boot Bush. Two stories in reputable papers said that online voting was to be counted by Omega Technologies. Among the findings I got from Google were that OT is involved with optical scanners and wireless networks.

27.Nov.2004 And Five Star Trust, as noted earlier, is a seriously suspicious company. Take the wheeler-dealer most closely associated with the company, J.R. Horn. This guy was convicted of wire fraud in 2001; while out on parole, he commited the same crime (the figure of a billion dollars has been mentioned), only to be sentenced to a mere 18 months. I can't help but compare Mr. Horn's cushy fate to those well-known cases of minor pot dealers sentenced to years in prison.

Let's explore certain "what if?" scenarios in detail. What if it was some other country where a political party took over the presidential palace in the way the Bush administration took over the White House? Should we hail as the true patriots of this foreign land those of its citizens who endorse an "election" that was shut down by judicial fiat before it was over, even if the court's explicit basis for that premature shutdown was that their favored candidate somehow already had "legitimacy" entitled to protection at his opponent's expense? In other words, can a "free and fair" election elsewhere in the world have a winner before it has a winner? To illustrate with a real-world example, how about if that other country was, say, Cuba + the "winning" candidate was, say, Fidel Castro?

When a top U.S. senator receives a major award from a national advocacy organization, it’s standard procedure for both the politician and the group to eagerly tell as many people about it as possible.
Press releases spew from fax machines and e-mails clog reporters’ in-boxes.
The news media are summoned in the hope that favorable stories will appear in the newspapers, on radio and on television.
It was odd, therefore, that when U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) accepted a “Thomas Jefferson Award” from a national group at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in August, the media weren’t notified.
In fact, they weren’t welcome to attend.
“The media should not know when or where we meet or who takes part in our programs, before or after a meeting,” reads one of the cardinal rules of the organization that honored Frist.
The membership list of this group is “strictly confidential.” Guests can attend only with the unanimous approval of the organization’s executive committee. The group’s leadership is so secretive that members are told not to refer to it by name in e-mail messages. Anyone who breaks the rules can be tossed out.
What is this group + why is it so determined to avoid the public spotlight?
That answer is the Council for National Policy (CNP). And if the name isn’t familiar to you, don’t be surprised. That’s just what the Council wants.

Goss is the scion of a wealthy Connecticut family + joined the CIA after Yale

Goss thought the man was a representative from his father's metal company, telling him he had just stopped by to say hello to his dad's friends.
The recruiter assumed Goss was the son of a senior agency official.
Goss, in his job interview for the clandestine service, the jacket of the CIA director, Allen Dulles, caught fire.
Assuming it must be a test, Mr Goss said nothing but stared at the smoke rising. No doubt impressed by his cool, Dulles hired him.
His critics allege it is partisan loyalty rather than reformist vision that is now driving Mr Goss's shake-up.
A self-declared old friend who trained with Mr Goss, Thomas Twetten, a former deputy director of operations, warned in the Los Angeles Times: "Goss + his minions can do a great deal of damage in short order.
"If the professional employees in the agency don't believe the agency's leadership is on their side, they won't take risks for it and, in the end, they won't stay."

The House of Representatives intelligence committee that Mr Goss chaired issued a report this year saying the CIA risked becoming a "stilted bureaucracy incapable of even the slightest bit of success".
However, most of the senior officials who have left to date were not implicated in the CIA's recent failures.
